IM BACK IM BACK IM BACK. From my cousin's house ._.Today is the last day of 2006 and I wanted to do a reflection on my rv life. But Im lazy to so I shall just sum it up with one sentence... IT'S FRICKING AWESOME AND ALL THE MEMORIES, THEY ARE PRECIOUS AND I LOVE ALL OF YOU WHO MADE MY LIFE AMAZING. I went out with winnie, JO DAD and her friend (opps, forgot the name ._.) on Sat. Went JE arcade. Yeah, Im happy. :D At night, I had to go my cousin's bday party. She just turned 10. And I spent the night and most of today at her house. IM SO TIRED CAN. She's like so damn energetic and always running around, asking me to play with her. We went swimming this morning and I discovered that I have grown thicker around the waist ._. Got super tired after just swimming 1 lap. And, my cousin made me play with her i.e carry her then dump her in the water, carry her and bounce around etc. Then when we returned to her house, I was totally exhausted and was lying half-dead on the sofa. However, she very cheerfully dragged me off to play with her again. There's like no quiet times at all. Im kinda glad to be home. With the company of me and myself and my bugs. My Aunt bought me a cool gadget for my bday. :D I feel guilty cause it's ex and that I couldnt tell my parents. They will scold the shit out of me ._. Oh, New Year Resolutions? Um.. Be healthier. I didnt achieve any resolutions for 2006 except master swimming. If you consider my floundering in the water swimming. FINAL DESTINATION 3 IS A SADISTIC PIECE OF JUNK. (I wanted to say "piece of shit" but I decided to respect the film makers just a little.)I hate it when so many people die in a movie. I dont mind seeing those people in like, Troy, Curse of the Golden Flower etc dies in fights. But I HATE IT when it's like... Person A: Hahah. You know I went to.. *PLIAK* *You see fine mist of blood and the lower torso slid lifelessly to the ground. Upper torso can be seen in a blood mess 1 metre away. Or worse, no upper torso to be seen. Instead, chucks of flesh coated with blood scattered around. Oh, they love showing half the head usually.* Fricking gross.   MERRY CHRISTMAS! I even got christmas-theme icons. I watched Curse of the Golden Flower with my family. Seriously, I dont see much of a link between the movie name and the movie. Yeah, I can see that it's very golden(royal family), and has lots of chrysanthemums (which I suppose can be considered as Golden Flower). So, where's the curse? Is it refering to the part where so many people die? It's not a curse! It's evil side of humans nature my darlings. IMO, the movie should be name Boob Galore instead. Near the start of the movie, they immediately show hundreds of maids on their bed, in several states of undress. Then a gong sounded and they leapt off the bed. Going on to the next scene, the camera zooms in on the BOOBS, which the maids are helping each other to squeeze into a chinese-style corset. And then somewhat later you see Gong Li. Enough said. Jay Chou was kinda cool in the movie, as in he's very serious, very deep that kind. Still, I would not recommand y'all to watch this flick unless you have too much time, too much money, love boobies, love Jay Chou (ugh) or just love this kind of not-so-there movies. I admit that the setting and costumes are really grand thou. Prince Yuan Xiang is so funny. Let me make a list of movies I wanna watch: 1. The Holiday (someone please?) 2. Eragon 3. Death Note 2 (settled! :D) 3. Blood Diamond (Leonardo DiCaprio is not so hot now but there's Jennifer Connelly.) 4. Apocalypto (about Mayans) 5. The Illusionist ( ABRAKADABRA) 6. 300 (definitely man! About the Spartan against the Persian. Look out for an army of bare-chest man.) 7. Spiderman 3 (like, OF COURSE) 8. Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End (YEAH BABY) 9. Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (Jessica Alba, Chris Evans!!) 10. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Dan Radcliff not as cute or hot now. :/ Love him more in Azkaban) 11. Golden Compass (Daniel Craig, Eva Green and um.. Nicole Kidman?) That's about it for now. I had a weird dream. I dreamt that due to the mutation of my wisdom tooth, my whole patch of gum along with 6 teeth (weird) still attached to the gums(left side) dropped out! Surprisingly there was no pain. So I carefully wrapped that patch of gum and teeth in tissue paper and bring to the dentist. The dentist actually LAUGHED at it and when I told him about my other wisdom tooth, he very solemnly said that he got to cut a patch out on the right as well to balance the left side. I was calm and nodded my head. Then I went off to this Jap restaurant with yn & oli (???) to eat. We were sitting at a round table, there werent chairs so we sat on the floor. Suddenly, Peilin & Maria (O_o) walked in and treated us to dumpling soup from a huge tumbler. Weird isnt it? Anyway, check this out. The Silver Surfer which is gonna be in Fantastic Four!

 Night at the Museum is uber cool. Watched it with eil, yn and mich, so it's double the fun. It's a cute movie. My fav characters? Jeff and Octavius (featured in pic above, Jeff is on the left). Jeff: Step aside Giganto! Larry: Hey Teenie, how's that sounds? Jeff: It hurts my feelings. Larry: Well, Giganto makes me feel like some sort of freak. Octavius: I will just call you Larry. Larry: Dont be kiss ass. :D I love this movie. I took a bus home with yn and at one point these two guys, I named them GuyA and GuyB board the bus and sat next to us. Soon, GuyA, who was sitting next to yn (i was in the corner), fell asleep and his head knocked yn's shoulders twice. Then, when yn had to alight, she accidently stepped on GuyB's foot. And GuyB that idiot was complaining so loudly that I can hear. GuyB: Wahlao, she stepped on my foot. My whole foot! (mutters something unintelligible) She wearing school shoes la! (mutters something again) (yn alighted from the bus, turned and smiled at me) GuyB: (who the whole time was still staring at yn) (to GuyA) Did you see that? Why did she smile at me? (sounds really puzzled) GuyA: (whispers) It's her friend there la. At that point, I really want to burst out laughing hysterically but I cant. So I had to bite my lips, cover my mouth and all that to hide my grin. HAHAHHAHAA.   I wish that Im a cat with nine lives. So that at least I can stop fearing that I will die and just be gone from this world of mostly wonderful things. On Mon, went out to celebrate trish's bday as well as shop. I had to buy slippers and hence I will have to wear open-toed footwear. My only option was my heels which I had wore to prom. Being such a tall person with oddly sorta small feet, my sense of balance is terrible. When I board the mrt, I almost toppled over and break my neck and die 'cause of the damn heels. It was raining heavily as well. As I walked down the slippery slope, I almost slipped and break my neck and die 'cause of the damn heels. See? Dont I need to have more lives in case I so stupidly die in such an unusual way? Walked to Marina Square. Under encouragement from trish, she and I both ate the Great Dane from Anderson's Icecreams. Which basically meant three scoops of icecream EACH (note: we didnt share). Im lucky I didnt faint from overdose of icecream. trish has amazing appetide. She helped me finish my choco biscuit 'cause I was too bloated to. xuan was with us as well. mag & kl came to join us later in the evening. Basically we just eat, shop, talk. Not neccesary in that order. Today, I went to She-Who-I-Dont-Want-To-Type-Her-Name-Here's house to watch So You Think You Can Dance which she had helped me taped. After that, she tried to entertained me with RS and this hospital game but I wasnt very entertained.   I've decided to post an icon or two along with my every posts. It's a huge shame to let these pretty icons that I found to rot in my computer and kept only for my own viewing pleasure. Nothing exciting happened over these few days. Thou on fri, me ven mag & chew went to this Victoria's Secrets warehouse sale at raffles. I expected to find lots of cool bras which I can buy, however, indeed I found lots of cool bras but are those which I cant buy. There's one with pretty patterns and colouring BUT, the part where it's suppose to cover your boob, instead of like cotton padding and such, it's just a piece of flimsy translucent cloth! Most of the pretty bras there are like that. So of course, I cant buy as HOW COULD I POSSIBLY BE ABLE TO WEAR IT? Like, I wouldnt be able to fill the cup nicely. :( So we all end up buying the tees there instead. Im a movie junkie! Dont believe? Look.  This is my room. My Wall of Favourites. Uhhuh. Pretty eh? My fav among the fav is of course the Underworld poster. I do dumb things all the time. One fine day, I was using my comp and decided to stick my thumbdrive in to check the stuff in it. Suddenly, Norton Antivirus alert me that MY COMP GOT A VIRUS. So I immediately surf the net for steps to remove it. Due to the lack of printer, I had to copy down parts of the intructions on paper. I spent 35mins to have a virus scan through my 166Thousand files. I did many other things. And after a long long time......... I realize that the VIRUS IS IN MY THUMBDRIVE and had not infected my comp! So actually all I had to do is to delete the file in my thumbdrive and there isnt a need for all that virus scan shit. wtf. Another dumb thing is I thought I borrowed 4 books from the library so that day I only return those 4. But as I was tidying my room, I found the fifth book! So now that book is still with me and it's already overdue. Argh. At least I will be out to celebrate trish's bday tomorrow. Monday, December 11, 2006
Bits of things happened over the last few days but I didnt get a chance to blog about it so...long post ahead. Besides, even thou I typed this entry like sometime ago, nasty dictionary.com was down and I dont want to post something with ten thousand mistakes.Last Sunday I probably wouldnt want to work as a promoter for something inedible again. Seriously tough. And it doesnt help that Im a shy person. The good thing is, you get to see all types of people. There was this couple, a pretty blonde babe and a hooked-nose dude at the ice cream section. As they were deep in discussion, the blonde babe flipped up her shirt to show the guy her stomach (probably saying that ice cream will make her fat). And man, MY EYES POPPED OUT. She has this... FRICKING TONED ABS. It's not those manly chocolate-bars kind, but the femininely shaped kind. IM SO ENVIOUS. She should be mounted on a pedestal and worshipped. I must work on mine. :/ Then on the mrt, I saw four males and 2 females. 2 couples, 2 lonely dudes. They were dressed up in a really cool way, kinda punk, but Spore-Style, not those hardcore punkers. So of course I was really interested and kept stealing glances at them. Then, after several peeps from under my yankees cap, I realized something. There's actually 3 MALES, 3 FEMALES. And yes, it's indeed 2 couples. For those who still doesnt understand, YES, there's 1 les couple. Anyway, I was very intrigued by their dressing. Monday I went lunching with Ven, who I have not met for what it feels like 16 years. She still has this weird sense of humour that makes people go (-_-)" . Hahaha. I MISSED YOU. When I remember to, that is. :> Watched So You Think You Can Dance 2 on channel 5. I must say, I absolutely adore the Pussycats Dolls (not having les moments). Their sultry voices make good ear-candy and damn, their Booty-work IS EFFING GOOD. *applause & catcalls* Good abs muscles! Wonderful! I like Musa. He's such a great breakdancer. Tuesday Watched Victoria's Secrets Fashion Show 2006 on youtube! It's like super cool! The models and their accents, the outfits, the stage setting, the music, EVERYTHING. J Stam should really be raised to Angels status next year. Last year's show was more glam but I still enjoyed watching it alot. :D And Im a converted Justin T fan. Hehehe. Steamboat with class! Thou in the end, only a mere 1o people (counting me) turned up. Went kite flying first 'cause the guys were late. Thanks to my maniacal running and kl's great skills, we got it up and flying high. For steamboat, we had live prawns and crabs. The first prawn that Wayne attempted to throw into the pot, was very much alive and concious. So upon contact with the hot soup, it jumped right out, landing on our food, then twitched and jerked onto another plate along with several more bounces and jumps. This sudden show of acrobatics from the prawn induces loud sharp shrieks (namely from kl mag and ven I think) which results in lots of head-turning from the other tables. The rest of the time, it was pretty much uneventful unless you count our hopeless attempts at cooking the crabs. Des and the guys took like 3 crabs to chop up. But they returned to the table empty handed. And the reason is that they had apparently chopped the crab to mush and decided to throw the mush crab bits away. Ven is the Queen of Prawns. There was like a plateful of prawn shells in front of her. Today Watched Underworld: Evolution! It's super sexy and not gory at all. I like how the vampires & lycans eyes changes as they transformed. The ladies vampires always have this ethereal beauty to them. They have this whole package: pale/fair complexion, icy blue eyes and those sexy canines peeking out from their mouth (they often wouldnt/couldnt keep their mouth fully shut). For the guys vampires, they are just hairy. Like, always really hairy. Be it chest hair (most expose their chest), facial hair, hair etc. Scott Speedman (the male lead) would have been eye-candy if not for that disgusting mop of hair. Ugh. Tomorrow is my last day as a promoter. Im SUPER HAPPY CAN. Today there's this huge hulaboo but it's a long story. I feel bad lying about my pay to the other promoters but I would feel worse if I had told the truth.Anyway, I decided to start this thing which is called "Ha Ha Pictures (HHP)". Today is Twins Bonding Day. Which just means get-together time with Kwan. We did the most basic thing: watch movie. Since I had no interest in Happy Feet or Open Season, we had to settle for Deja Vu. It's... a complicated movie that requires severe thought-processing in order to understand the plot (thank goodness my brain is still there). It's sort of like Minority Report (Minority Report was way better thou) and very sci-fic. It's cool if you are into action flicks (which I am). However, the leads not eye-candy at all. Denzel Washington is like.. old. Even thou I have this weird thing for the more vintage guys (eg, Hugh Jackman, Daniel Craig etc), he's just ugh. But, he's a good actor IMO.Went Esplanade because I really wanted to go to this movie stuff shop. Spent so much time there looking at the stuff that I think Kwan must have been bored off her toes. Bought a chirashi of Hardcandy but more about that next time. I didnt know there's a roof terrace at Esplanade. It's pretty cool up there. Went to sit near the Merlion, drink starbucks sample coffee, smell the stink of the sea and talk. I really wanted to go to the Clifford Pier again but apparently it's closed for a revamp. Boo. I think Clifford Pier is... I dont know how to describe it but it's a place where I would love to just sit there, absorb the atmosphere and watch the people around me.  There's this "write your wishes for 2007 on white inflatable balls" at Esplanade so when the dude ask us if we want to write, of course we did. Anyway, Maggie sent me this email and I feel so disturbed looking at it. It's pictures of anorexic models and it really scares me.  It's so totally unhealthy. Thou now if Im not wrong, there's a BMI limit for models since that time a model died on the runway. Ignore that little voice in your head telling you you're fat. Beauty comes from within. I just feel like saying all these since I watched Nip Tuck and how those people undergo surgery for the weirdest reasons. And I remember this line, "You can change how you look but not how you feel." Was working on Fri, Sat & Sun as a promoter at Great World City. Let me show you how I felt.  This was taken when I was slacking in the toilet by the way. Being on my feet for 8hrs is too much, so I had to take occasional breaks to rest my poor feet by sitting on the toilet bowl. Besides, if anyone ask me why I took so long, I can just say I need to shit. Still, I think I have develop steel legs now. Most shoppers at Great World are foreigners (Blondes, Japanese, Arabian etc) and many just grabbed the detergent and hurried off before I could speak. Alot others kept asking me for directions (eg, "Where's the bread?") and walked away with an irritated look when I said Im not sure. HELLO? Cant they read the tag Im wearing which says "Promoter", not "Staff" or whatnot. So to make things more pleasant for myself, I had to go around the place and familiarize myself with where certain things are placed so that I can help these people. On the bright side, there are so many kids! The blonde kids are super cute! Friday: Saw a little boy called Shane. He was wearing all his clothes inside-out and running around. Also saw another boy who was wearing a soccer jersey with the name "Monster" and number 7 on his back. Saturday: This little girl had her hair in braids, wore a blue cap with "Singapore" printed on it and matching blue basketball jersey with "Singapore" printed on the front as well, along with number 7. Saw another guy with similar jersey and cap, just that his is blue. They are extremely adorable! There was also this hot hunky Brazilian dude too. :D Sunday: This dude said "good luck" to me while I was staring into space while waiting for people to look at the detergent. It puts me into such good mood that I cant stopped grinning. Of course there were other cute kids as well as Jap Uncles In Suits but I cant remember all. The other promoters there were friendly. At least I've got people to talk to. Nowadays, I have been obsessing over several things. First and foremost, ANTM (Im a member of FansOfRealityTv)! Followed by avatars/icons (my comp is filled with them), LEGO (I passed by this LEGO shop and decided to expand my collection. I love those plastic yellow-face little men! I must say the Bionicle collection is getting uglier and uglier thou. But I had the full set of the first series.) and lastly, movies!!! Speaking of that... I LOVE CASINO ROYALE! And I was so crazy over it that I took the 8Days sms thingy. AND I WON THE CONSOLATION PRIZE. MUAHAHAHA. IM SUPER HAPPY! It's Casino Royale premiums worth $100. La La La.
