HAIRCUT HAIRCUT FYEAH HAIRCUTTTTT~Thanks to yn who accompanied me to Chapter 2 for a haircut today. She slouched in the chair in the most unglam manner & killed people, exploded cars on my psp while the hairdresser messed with my hair & scalp. Anyway, I've been wanting to cut short hair again ever since I started growing out my hair (lol). So I decided that now is the right time and I did. I told the hairdresser that I want to cut my hair really short and she looked at me like O__O and say, "Really?" I frowned and nodded, 'cause seriously, who jokes about things like this in a hair salon?! But she did a rather good job, though I'm most displeased with my fringe. I look super toot?!? Oh well. Washing my hair was most fun, because there was hardly much hair left and I came out of the showers in record time. Then I went tumblring and SAW PICTURES OF GIRLS WHO PWN ME WITH THE SAME KIND OF HAIRCUT. I'm foaming at the mouth because of how pretty they look and Im just like -_- HAHAHAH. Fail. What bad-ass thing shld I do next? Yeah, get inked on my 21st birthday. My newest colleague who has a dragon on his leg had been sharing stories with me. Hmmm. Labels: life Thursday, July 22, 2010
THEM STITCHES ARE OUT.So it's been a week since I've my wisdom tooth surgery, which I had massively publicized to my friends because Im such an attention whore. It's certainly a fascinating experience without much pain (thankgoodness) and certainly an experience that I would have to repeat. -_- I guess the worst is the fact that I couldnt eat my favourite junk foods, fast foods, baked rice, BBQ mushrooms etc and I got so damn sick of porridge after just 2 days. I get to keep my wisdom tooth too, albeit in pieces because the dentist (who is good looking, charming & humorous btw) had to cut my tooth and my gums into pieces before he could extract the tooth. This ruin my plans to have my teeth in some kind of art installation in the future. I would also like to mention that my XRAY showed that my lower jaw wisdom tooth are uber cool because they grew almost horizontally. Told ya I'm awesome. Today I went walking around Bugis after my dental appointment to look for grey jeans. I have light grey and dark grey jeans but not grey. Yes, I'm that particular. I did managed to find a pair that feels okay, but its not as tight as my light grey one which is currently my favourite!! UGH. Feeling disappointed by the stuff in Bugis, I made my way to KOI. Despite me having in-ear earphones and blasting rock music, I could still hear the girls behind me talking, swearing in Hokkien and shoving each other all over the place. I was like wtf and had to suppress this incredible urge to shout at them STOP BEING CHILDISH YOU LITTLE FUCKERS. But you know, being mature and all, I did not. Except in my head of course. I also noticed that I got stared at alot while walking around Bugis. I dont know if I'm being paranoid or what but dont you have some unexplained feeling when someone stares at you? But I would like to clarify that they are staring at my shirt (I did caught a few staring k), which has Agyness Deyn's face on it so it's probably distracting to others 'cause she's awesome. My colleagues from work came over for a chat during my shift, wanting to catch a glimpse of the new girls that were supposed to join us. Unfortunately those girls resigned at the last minute so the boys started lame talk & a discussion about another colleague of mine. It's funny how different boys' humor are from girls'. That's how I felt. Them boys -_- OH AND I ALMOST FORGOT TO BLOG ABOUT.. jj vb'08 gathering! There was only 6 of us in the end, with Ting Ting joining us only on the train home. It was fun catching up and I really miss talking to all of them (except Bestia whom I see on a regular basis lol). We couldnt stop talking and ended up taking a super long time to decide on what we wanted to eat. Abrupt ending but I wanna sleep -_- Labels: funny, life, vball, work Wednesday, July 07, 2010
Work isnt very interesting at the moment, and I just pass each working hours thinking that I'm getting paid for sometimes doing nothing. Besides I always lug my art books, journal, book journal, sign lang papers, unfinished letters to penpal, magazine etc to work to entertain myself so I guess it isnt so bad.Alrighty! I had my sign lang EXAM last sunday. Yes it's an EXAM because its the last stage of the beginner's course so theres another component other than receptive (written) and that is.. EXPRESSIVE. Which basically means that I aka ME, have to sign to the tester expressively and also be able to communicate (sort of) to her. It's kinda like a flashback to secondary school chinese oral days because there's a passage and pictures! YES, PICTURES. The tester asks (sign) the questions and you answer (sign). I did well for the passage I suppose, the tester told me I sign very well. -beams- I gave a rather WTH answer to one of her questions for the pictures and she gave me this really confused look. Wopps. I was the second last person to be tested for my class so I had the chance to see everyone's expression when they came out from the room and all of them had this really sheepish look. I was wondering why until it was my turn and I went out of the room with this really sheepish look as well. Im guessing that its kinda ridiculous but funny, to do a look-at-the-pictures-and-tell-me-what-you-see thing at this age. Speaking of my class, this time round I had more fun as the people were more outspoken. Before the exam, we were just randomly shouting out words that we werent sure of and everybody would repeat the sign and the family words. One of the guys was signing to us family words which we had not learnt and confusing everyone until we yelled at him. Everybody got rather crazily stressed up but the mood was still cheery as we ended up making jokes about the exam. LAST LESSON THIS WEEK AND IM MOVING ON TO INTERMEDIATE STAGE IN AUGUST. :D Random boring incoherent post. Labels: sign |
