This post will be all about LEGO, so skip if you're not interested.Im finally done arranging my LEGO display so here are the pictures! :D  Pre-arranging. This cabinet from IKEA cost a boom boom bomb.  With lights!  The building (Green Grocer) is my favourite & a must-have for any serious collector. There's an interior (stairways, grandfather's clock, boxes of food, cashier counter, mouse-hole etc) and its detachable into 4 parts. VERY COOL. Come my house see for yourself! :D Level 1 of the cabinet has a City theme.   This level also has a City theme, along with a survivor camp of some sort (I would call it Post-Apocalyse but well).    I built this interior myself, with references from the net. :D   Custom guns from Brickarms.com   Mafia gang with friendly hotdog guy.  This level have some Pirates sets and misc. sets which I shall call the "Transport" section.   The female pirate (right) is the first ever released by the LEGO group.  Castle theme.     I spend alot of time & money arming them ._. Castle theme- Ships.     I cant wait to expand my collection of course. :D I went for another outing with my fellow LEGO fan "bro's". This Bricks Jamboree is at Changi Airport T3, its currently in the transit area for the entire month of July. This showcase consists of various works by 3 LEGO Certified Professionals (meaning they build things with LEGO as a full-time job). One of them is Nicholas, who is also a fellow member, thus we went down to support him. :D             The guy in beanie is Nic.                       After that (including a random forray to the LEGO section in NTUC & poking through all the old sets), we headed down to a fellow member's house. His house is ohmygoodnessfreaking LEGO heaven. He has a LEGO train tracks and a motorized train running around near the ceiling in his dining room area; has LEGO soccer field on his coffee table; LEGO Starwars sets in display next to his TV set, as well as vintage sets here, there everywhere. ANDDD, he told us that is just the appetizer. True enough, when we stepped into his LEGO ROOM....  He has glass cabinets on one side of the room, misc sets stacked up on the other and more. It was WOWW and pictures would not do it justice.   Just some of the display.  The guys arranged this, they were laughing like madmen & got really hyped up about it LOL. Nobody wanted to leave the room hahahah. We even sat down on the floor and just stare at all the amazing sets surrounding us. Fun! :) Labels: LEGO |
