Reflections 2008
(Subjected to changes. Cause Im darn sleepy as I type this.)

Yes that's right, it's THE time of THE year again. The time when you dug deep into the depths of your memories & re-live the moments when you felt infinite. The time when you feel thankful for everything that had happened & everybody you met, both the good & the bad. Good times let you feel truly alive, bad times make you stronger. Good people adds to your life, bad people teaches you to not be like them.

Hmmm, how about I do this somewhat chronologically..

The year 2008 kind of start with a bang, what's with the O1, leader's camp or what not's. Some of my fellow OGLs are totally great. Guo Hong & Samuel, the Mr Hornies, kept me very much entertained with their antics during boring meetings. Ren Wei, my mass dance partner right from the start can be darn grumpy at 5am but he makes me laugh. Also got to know nice nice people like Ser Hui, who happens to live in my neighbourhood; Hui Xin, who is a dedicated food attach; Xiao Wei, WHO WAS MY PRI SCH TUITION FRIEND & SHE CANT REMEMBER; Dewi, who takes good care of everybody & shares her sleeping bag with me even when the night is freaking freezing.

My dear OG14 has just about the best campers! Lil' monster Wan Ting, aunty turtle Jing Hui, a big girl Abigail, self-proclaimed "shuai ge" Jeremy are those I hang out with more & have lots of fun together. Sheena made me realise that there's no obstacle too tough to overcome so long as you set your heart to it. And even though I wasnt very close to Diona, she never fails to send me a goodluck msg before the start of my exam periods & even one when Alevels ended! Hahah, I really really appreciate it you know.

Others, WINIFRED ah, I cant remember how we got to know each other but I know that we can really click & talk talk talk & share stuff. (: And there's Zi Hui too, who is blur sotong but very sweet junior.

My OGLs le? Aunty Kui Noi for giving me advices from time to time & chicken Jishen for showing care&concern by calling me after my econs papers during Alevels (cause I told him econs I sure die one).

2008 is also the year when I first took part in the volleyball nationals. Though I didnt even played on court, but just being able to be there is more than enough for me. Cheering for my teammates, cheering for bestfriend & being able to be there for her... some feelings just cant be put into words. My fellow noobies, Shi Shi, Ting Ting & Huay Ning, trainings definitely sucks like fuck (Im not vulgar, its just that it rhymes mah) without any of you. Laugh at Ting Ting get hit in the face, laugh at Ting Ting get hit in the head, laugh at Ting Ting doing stupid things... HAHAH, you get the idea. :D And Shi Shi, thanks for all those talks & encouragements during trainings, they mean a lot. Though I know those more experienced ones will probably have forged strong bonds with various different teams in their lifetime but for me, I probably wouldnt forget this team. Lynette AKA Bra-ther for always showing off her boobies, Winner for being so da-xiao-jie but still so funny at the same time, Yi Qian for always being so thoughtful, Lim for all her lame lame jokes, Sophia for her even more lame lame jokes, Bestia for being a source of our suan-ing & Captain Cheryl for her funny stories of her encounter with a bird...

2008 is also a year where I didnt hang out that much with my sec school clique. Even so, everything seems to feel more or less the same when we do hang out. You know, the feeling that things had been so since like forever & probably will be so forever (unrealistic but then feelings dont always make sense).

Also didnt get to hang out that much with el people. Winnie once said we sounded like penpals in our smses to each other, LOL. el juniors are love. yn eil oli sonny grace...

And partner Grace! We hardly get to see each other because our schedules are always sooo conflicting but whenever we meet up, it feels as if we've not been apart.

And twin Kwan! Still meet from time to time & yeaaaaaaaa, must continue to!

(Im tired now, I think my grammer & vocab are leaving me..)

2008 is full of ups & downs within the clique. Change is the only constant. I shall not try for any mushy-mushy speech here because we still got to see each other regularly hor. Stella for always listening to my emo-times & complaints, Bestia for being my conscience, Linda for always bringing up the spirits of the group, Sha for being the subject of our jokes, YY for just being there & Szeying, IM SO PROUD OF YOU LA. You showed me that growing up & changing for the better is possible. HA! :D

And then there's the new group of people I met! My fellow colleages at RBS. Yo buddyyy Jesline & Junyao, Im gonna miss you all when you leave. ): Cant slack in the store together & bully Jesline anymore! ): Soooooo, we should still meet up. :D

Lastly & most importantly, banana bestestbestfriend; too much to say but too few words fit. Hmmm, how about just.. What would I do without you? :)

Summary, three words.
I am happy.
